What is Apprenticeship?
Apprenticeship is an agreement between a person (an apprentice) who wants to learn a skill and an employer who needs a skilled worker.
The Apprentices are taught the latest applications, processes and methodologies in their respective fields of work from some of the most renowned organizations in India.
This also acts as a transition phase for a school/college student from a classroom to a working background.
The Apprentice also learns soft skills, work culture, ethics and organizational behaviour while undergoing training.

- Political Intervention: Labour contractor engagement often faces political influence.
- High Attrition: Legal limitations restrict contract periods, leading to the loss of trained workers, typically after 7 months.
- Perennial Job Restrictions: Legal and operational constraints hinder deployment of contract labour in roles involving regular or continuous work.
- Legal Risks: Continuous engagement may lead to claims for permanency and union-related complications.
- Compliance Burden: Employers must adhere to multiple labour laws and ensure timely submission of statutory returns, payments, and records under government scrutiny.
